The market is in a difficult spot, but I’m not going to force a swing short.
I’m waiting for the right setup to develop.
The bullish structure is still intact, so simply expecting a reversal is not enough. I want to see the market give us a clear swing short setup before taking the trade.
What I’m Waiting For
I’m watching for:
- A clear change in market structure
- Failed bullish attempts
- Loss of important support
- Weakness in the S&P 500
- Confirmation from individual stocks
- A favorable risk-reward setup
The timing is less important than the structure. If the setup isn’t there, I’ll wait.
I would rather enter a swing short a little later with confirmation than enter too early while the bullish structure is still intact.
The goal is not to predict the exact top. It is to wait until the market gives us a high-quality short setup.
