NVIDIA Stock Is Forming a Rising Wedge
NVIDIA ($NVDA) just printed the most dangerous weekly candle in a very long time. Let me show you why.
First of all, we closed on the low tick. It was a bear bar double top.
More importantly, look at the broader chart structure. We are in a rising wedge environment. You can see the pink lines coming together, forming a rising wedge.
These rising wedges are usually reversal patterns.
The 2024 Rising Wedge
We had a similar pattern in 2024. Again, we had a rising wedge, with the pink lines coming together.
We then printed a strong bear bar closing on the low, and once again, it was a double top, just like now.
So, what happened next?
NVIDIA experienced a 40% crash.
The last leg of that decline was the tariff dip. I don’t know if we are going to get that again, but the first part is just a natural correction. That is something you usually see in any market, on any time frame, after these types of patterns.
Could NVIDIA Test the High One More Time?
In 2024, NVIDIA came back to the high one more time before rolling over.
That may happen again.
However, I do think the odds favor a break below the rising wedge and lower prices.
What Should Traders Watch?
If you want to buy NVIDIA, it is better to wait.
If you are looking for a short opportunity, this setup could be worth watching.
The rising wedge, the double top, and the bearish weekly close are the key elements of this setup.
The question now is whether NVIDIA will break below the wedge and move toward lower prices.
