Intel (INTC) Stock Analysis: Why I’m Waiting for a Higher Low Before Buying

Intel (INTC) is one of the most discussed semiconductor stocks in the market, but at current levels I am not interested in taking either a long or short position.

What would get my attention is an extended period of consolidation followed by a higher low. That type of price action would suggest that buyers are willing to step in at increasingly higher levels, often a sign that a stronger trend may be developing.

From a trading and investing perspective, the goal is not to buy the exact bottom. The goal is to find situations where the probability of success and the risk-to-reward ratio are both attractive.

If Intel can establish a solid trading range and then produce a confirmed higher low, the setup becomes much more compelling than trying to predict a bottom today.
